Saint Andrew’s preschool classes are intentional in fostering a child’s independence, natural curiosity, and sparking a love of learning as a strong foundation to a child’s educational journey.
As educators, we understand the importance of early childhood development on a child’s future success, academically, personally, and spiritually. Each child is treated as a unique individual; with their own strengths and interests.
Due to small class sizes teachers are able to tailor approaches and schedules to the children in the classroom, meeting each child where they are and empowering each child to reach their own individual potential.
Preschool has a focus on Kindergarten readiness, independent name formation, letter names and sounds, building number sense, phonemic awareness using Heggerty’s pre-kindergarten curriculum.
Our preschool program utilizes Friendzy’s faith-based social emotional teaching program to reinforce social emotional skills through the lens of faith.
Our preschool program is reliant on a strong relationship between families and teachers, to provide the support necessary for each child to thrive in their educational journey.
